What do the QR codes do?
Each asset gets a QR label. The worker scans the label with the phone's camera to open the record, then runs the pre-use inspection, checks it out or logs equipment time. Every inspection records who and where.
How does equipment cost reach the job?
Rate cards give each asset a rate (with per-job overrides). Equipment time entries — logged directly or propagated from operators' timesheets — are priced against the rate and appear on the job financial summary and, if you choose, on the invoice.
Can I track small tools and PPE, not just heavy equipment?
Yes. Categories are yours to define, and check-out / check-in with attachments works for harnesses and hammer drills as well as lifts.
