Questions we get about project management
What is the difference between a project and a job?
A project is the site or contract; jobs are the scopes under it (phases, buildings, separate POs). Costs, schedules, forms and notes attach at the job level and roll up to the project. A job can also stand alone.
Can people outside my company answer an RFI?
Yes. There is a tokenised public response page; the consultant or GC answers there and the response is recorded on the RFI with a notification to you.
Do work orders live here?
Yes. Work orders, T&M line items and checklists sit on the job, and they also show on the dispatch board and on equipment records.
