What changes in the office on Monday

The estimate lives in one spreadsheet, the job budget in another, and the change orders in an email thread. None of them agree by month three.

The estimate becomes the job

Why trade contractors pick Appello

The union engine is the product, not a setting

Trade levels, wage regions, versioned agreements, travel rate cards and overtime rule sets are first-class records — the same records the schedule and the job cost read.

Built for ICI sub-trades, not adapted from service

Insulation, sheet metal, HVAC, electrical, scaffold, firestop — crews working under a GC on hospitals, plants and outages. That is the only customer we build for.

Honest about what is built

Everything on this page is in the product today unless it says Beta.

Questions we get about sales & estimation

Is there a deal pipeline?

Appello tracks companies, contacts, estimates and change orders, with sales reports and an estimate calendar. It does not have a Kanban deal pipeline today; the estimate statuses are the pipeline.

What carries over when an estimate is won?

A guided setup creates the job from the estimate, carrying the customer, contact, location and PO. The job is numbered automatically and linked back to the estimate.

Can I price change orders from the field?

Yes. Change orders can be created from a job, priced with line items, sent to the customer and marked approved or rejected. Approved ones roll into the next progress invoice.

Bring a bid you're working on
