Crew scheduling softwareSchedule crews without sending the wrong person.
Appello schedules crews by job, by worker or by day, on one schedule the office, the supervisor and the crew all read. When you book someone on approved leave, it asks before it saves. The daily schedule shows each worker green, yellow or red against the certifications the job requires. Crews open the mobile app to their own week: the job, the site address, the supervisor and directions. It is built for ICI trade contractors and live today.
One schedule, read the same way by everyone
Estimators think in jobs, supervisors think in people and the field thinks in days. Appello shows the same schedule all three ways.
Four views of one schedule
A multi-week job grid with crew counts on every bar, a calendar, a schedule per worker and a daily view of who is where.
Schedule a whole crew
Book a user group as a crew in one action, auto-fill a worker's week from a pattern, and move or copy blocks between days and jobs.
Certification check
The daily schedule shows each worker green, yellow or red against the job's required certifications. It warns; it never blocks.
Approved leave and holidays
Book someone over approved leave and Appello asks before it saves. Company holidays block the schedule and feed payroll.
Equipment on the schedule
Assign the lift to the same schedule as the crew, so it goes where the people who need it go.
The week in the app
Each worker opens the mobile app to their own week, with the job, site address, supervisor, required forms and directions.
What to know before you switch
- Appello does not send push or text notifications when the schedule changes. Crews see the latest schedule when they open the app, so call anyone whose day changes at short notice.
- The certification check warns but doesn't stop a booking. It tells you who to check first.
- The dispatch board for service work orders is in beta and turned on per customer.
- Appello doesn't pick the crew for you. A person builds the schedule; Appello checks it.

Questions contractors ask
Can Appello stop me scheduling a worker whose certification has expired?
No, it warns you. When a job or its project requires certifications, the daily schedule shows each worker green, yellow or red for the date you're scheduling: red for missing or expired, yellow for expiring soon. You can still assign them. The color tells you who to check before anyone drives to site.
How do crews see their schedule?
In the Appello mobile app. Each worker sees their own week, with the job, the site address, the supervisor, the forms the job requires and directions to site. Appello doesn't send push or text notifications when the schedule changes, so crews see the latest version each time they open the app.
Can I schedule equipment along with the crew?
Yes. Equipment can be assigned to the same schedule as the crew, so the lift or the truck is planned for the job and day it's needed. The asset's own record in Appello shows who has it, its inspections and its maintenance, and equipment time logged on the job is costed from your rate cards.
Does it handle service calls as well as project work?
Partly. Project crews are scheduled on the job grid, calendar, worker and daily views, which are all live. For service work there is a dispatch board with technician rows and work-order bars, but work orders are in beta and turned on per customer, so ask us to show it on your own jobs.
